I even made a squidoo lens about them.&amp;nbsp; If your curious check it out. &lt;a href="http://www.squidoo.com/Concept2ModelDIndoorRowingMachine"&gt;Concept2 Rowers&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Luke and I use them lots during the winter.. its a wonderful tool to help us on our way to our fitness goals. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They have this handy screen. It does the standard measures the time. Distance rowed.. calories burned..&amp;nbsp; It even has a game. my kids love it!&amp;nbsp; How fun is that.&amp;nbsp; My husband was telling me you can even hook it up to your computer and it can store info for you..&amp;nbsp; HOW COOL IS THAT!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;the Concept2 Company is AMAZING! &lt;a href="http://www.concept2.com/us/default.asp"&gt;Concept2&lt;/a&gt; they are friendly and professional..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp; I always saw them at the gym or the community center.. but I never thought much of them .. Then I got on one!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; You work EVERYTHING.. your whole body. Legs.. Arms. Core.. and it gets your heart pumping! (before we did P90X witch had a meal plan) my meals were planned around what starch or carbs we were going to have.. Pasta.. Rice.. Potato then I would choose the meat and veggies to complete the meal...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then we did P90X and the meal plan was very through .. you calculated what level you would eat at based on your size and your fitness goals.. so the level basically was the amount of calories you would eat...  it was 90 day... 3 months.. so also 3 phases to the diet..&lt;br /&gt;1st phase.. fat loss... lots of meat veggies and fruit.. very little carbs(bread, rice, pasta)&lt;br /&gt;2nd phase was introducing some complex carbs.. and 3rd was more carbs.. to really rev you up .. or something like that..&lt;br /&gt;NOW I LOVED THE FOOD... it had a menu and recipes that were delicious.   but there was so much work to do it all I was either preping food, cooking food, working or working out..  it was exhausting.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then we found &lt;a href="http://www.blogger.com/www.crossfit.com"&gt;CROSSFIT&lt;/a&gt;!      HIGH INTENSITY..  VARIED MOVEMENTS..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;they talked about &lt;a href="http://www.blogger.com/www.thezonediet.com"&gt;The Zone Diet&lt;/a&gt;.       I was hearing great things about it..  I LOVED the info&lt;br /&gt;about balancing your hormone levels.. that brought an AH HA moment to me on a deep level..&lt;br /&gt;( I also believe that diabetes is one of the worst and tragic conditions anyone could have.  and It breaks my heart that I lost my dad to this nasty disease)&lt;br /&gt;the zone is all about blocks... blocks of protein and  blocks of carbs and blocks of fat..&lt;br /&gt;well I was kind of getting it.. but having a hard time keeping all the blocks balanced on my plate.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then in Oct.  I met this AWESOME woman and she was a huge fan of the&lt;a href="http://www.blogger.com/www.thepaleodiet.com"&gt; Paleo Diet&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;it is SUPER SIMPLE..  eat Meat.. the leaner and cleaner the better..  as much as you want&lt;br /&gt;eat.. veggies and fruit..  as much as you want..  who over eats on veggies??&lt;br /&gt;and eat some nuts.  (no more than 4oz a day if you have a goal to loose weight)&lt;br /&gt;and its important to eat nuts and avocados.. you want those good fats.. in your body&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;SO NOW THIS IS HOW I PLAN MY MEALS....  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;First I pick my protein .. then what veggies or fruit I want to go with it..  SUPER EASY AND SUPER SIMPLE!    We do eat lots of salads... like I will bake some chicken in the oven chop that up and put it in a salad... &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt; Viola&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh..  I guess I should write a bit about the Paleo Diet and it is NO DAIRY NO BREAD NO SUGAR..  and for some reason..  I am TOTALLY fine without eating those things.. my daughter on the other hand..  not ready to give up the breads and the cheese.. &lt;br /&gt;For me ... I WAS OVER IT!   I WAS OVER FEELING CRAPPY...  I WAS OVER FEELING ENERGY CRASHES IN THE AFTERNOONS..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;WHAT I DO KNOW IS...&lt;/span&gt; when I eat Paleo&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt; I HAVE TONS OF ENERGY &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt; I DON'T CRAVE BREADS, PASTA OR TREATS&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt; I DON'T HAVE THAT AFTERNOON ENERGY CRASH! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;IT IS AWESOME! Great time to create new....</title><content type='html'>Happy New year!  and in this new year is new beginnings .  My husband and I went out with one of my favoritest couples on New Years Eve..  We went to diner @ &lt;a href="http://www.goodearthmn.com/"&gt;Good Earth&lt;/a&gt;!  Yummy! Great food.. I had some delish Gingered yams!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then we went to see &lt;a href="http://www.avatarmovie.com/index.html"&gt;Avatar&lt;/a&gt;!  OMG !   That movie was spectacular.. We got to see it in 3D.&lt;br /&gt;The other beings in this movie.. the way they moved was amazing! So tuned in to their bodies and environment.  I want to be able to move that way..   We can get ourselves distracted by many varieties of events it could be the holidays or family or new situation at work anything.. and we end up loosing  sight of our goals.
